Who am I ?
I am a mad passionate runner who has many times had to visit a sports massage therapist. Some of these visits due to injury and some for a general massage before a race.
I came back to running in my mid 40's, but unfortunately, I still believed I was in my 20's with the obvious consequences of muscle injuries. Luckily I visited a very good sports massage therapist who quickly explained to me how things worked and what I needed to do if I wanted to run and train for marathons.

Whilst I was running in races it became apparent that there were many other runners with the same issues and maybe I could help them. My first port of call was to qualify as a 'Leader in Running Fitness.' I then decided that I would qualify as a 'Soft Tissue Therapist' and now have a BTEC Level 5 qualification in Sports and Remedial massage from the London School of Sports and Remedial Massage (LSSM)
When I started on the course it was solely in my mind that it would compliment my 'leadership in running fitness' qualification and I could then help fellow runners. During the course it became very apparent that, the concept I had regarding sports massage was very narrow and I would be able to help anyone and everyone who had issues with soft tissue injuries.

I have a passion for seeing people enjoying life to the maximum and working as a soft tissue therapist helps me try to accommodate that for all clients.
In my mind there is nothing better than seeing a client leave the clinic with a new lease of life, believing they can now go ahead and enjoy life the way they really want to.
